Position: Engineer Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week
Position Summary The Engineer Assistant provides essential support to the engineering team by managing documentation, coordinating purchasing activities, and assisting with the operation of engineering systems. This role helps ensure smooth workflow and accuracy in product lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
Support the operation and maintenance of engineering systems.
Verify and check part numbers, bills of materials (BOM), and routing information within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Create purchase requests for engineering-related materials and follow up on order statuses to ensure timely delivery.
Collect, organize, and maintain engineering documents and records for easy access and reference.
Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by engineering managers or supervisors.
Qualifications
AA diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with PLM systems and basic understanding of BOM and routing processes is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Proactive and willing to support multiple tasks as needed.
Familiar in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
