Job Overview The Cybersecurity Engineer will support the implementation and advancement of identity-focused security capabilities across T-Mobile’s enterprise environment. This early-career role contributes to workforce identity initiatives, helping to ensure secure onboarding, authentication, and access management solutions. The engineer will work closely with senior technical staff to develop, integrate, and enhance identity systems, while also contributing to process improvement and automation efforts that align with cybersecurity and compliance goals.

Job Responsibilities Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support secure identity verification and onboarding workflows. Assist in implementation and maintenance of identity systems such as MFA, biometric authentication, and ID proofing tools. Develop and maintain scripting and automation solutions to improve efficiency of identity operations and reduce manual work. Support execution of compliance audits and internal investigations related to identity assurance and user access. Participate in risk analysis and testing for identity verification and IAM capabilities, calling out issues as needed. Analyze and document current identity processes, and assist in implementing improvements to strengthen system controls and performance. Engage with cybersecurity engineering, HR, legal, IT operations, and compliance teams to support secure access to systems and data. Contribute to identity-focused projects, working under guidance from senior engineers to implement technical deliverables.
Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related technical field or equivalent work experience 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field Hands-on experience supporting identity systems or IAM solutions (Preferred) Exposure to compliance or audit procedures within enterprise environments (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiarity with at least one scripting language (PowerShell preferred; Python or Java a plus) Exposure to identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID or Azure AD Understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, provisioning, access controls, and identity lifecycle management Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a process-oriented mentality Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support technical and non-technical collaboration Licenses and Certifications Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) CISSP and/or CCSK and/or CCSP and/or CISA/CISM certification a plus (Preferred) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (Preferred) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (Preferred) At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $79,900 - $144,100Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
