As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world-class products meeting and exceeding customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications and Responsibilities :
1 to 3 years of experience in Graphics APIs such as DX11, DX12, or Vulkan.
Strong design experience with OOPS and C++ development.
Hands-on experience with game development, Unreal Engine 5, and GPU-based rendering techniques.
Prior experience in implementing/supporting graphics drivers for standards like Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenCL; strong debugging skills preferred.
Experience working with GPU software & hardware teams and ISVs to develop and support optimized graphics drivers for Adreno GPUs.
Understanding of graphics rendering pipeline, APIs Inter-Op, and Multimedia IPs.
Performance profiling experience in DirectX/Vulkan games is preferred.
Level of Responsibility :

Effective communication skills required.
Tasks involve planning, problem-solving, and prioritization without predefined steps.
