Description: RETTEW seeks an experienced Engineer of Record (EOR) for Municipal Projects. The Engineer of Record (EOR) possesses extensive expertise in municipal engineering, public works, construction inspection, and various infrastructure and capital projects. The ideal candidate will act as the EOR for municipal clients and will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with municipal regulations for development projects, roadway and stormwater improvements, construction activity reviews, and the successful execution of public works projects.

This is a high-priority role with immediate impact —our team is actively seeking to fill this position as soon as possible to support critical project timelines, and we are offering a $10,000 signing bonus to the candidate who is hired.

Work Environment - Hybrid (three days in the office)

Project Oversight: Monitoring progress and maintaining compliance with Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development codes and regulations. Collaboration: Working closely with developers, engineers, municipal staff, contractors, and all stakeholders to translate designs into completed projects. Regulatory Compliance: Guaranteeing all construction documents meet required Federal, State, County and Municipal standards and requirements. Decision-Making Support: Participating in monthly Municipal and Authority meetings and contributing institutional knowledge.

Applicants for this role are required to possess a background in civil engineering consulting, along with experience and knowledge of Pennsylvania's regulatory environment.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. - Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain licensure within one year. - Minimum of five years of experience in Municipal Engineering or project management. - Experience with Pennsylvania municipal planning, codes, and regulations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project management software.
