The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DNS, IPAM solutions, and Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs), particularly with Infoblox products. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s DNS and IP address management systems, including the management of ASNs and their integration into the broader network infrastructure. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure efficient and secure management of network services.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and manage Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions for the company.
Configure and manage DNS and IPAM systems to support enterprise network infrastructure.
Manage and configure IP address allocation and ASNs for efficient routing and network policy management within Infoblox and other tools.
Integrate Infoblox with other systems and tools to automate network service management.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for DNS/IPAM platforms, ensuring ASN integration and routing are optimized.
Perform IP address audits and reclamation of unused address space
Design and implement IPv4 to IPv6 transition strategies
Collaborate with network engineers on subnet design and VLAN planning
Maintain accurate documentation of IP address and ASN allocations
Provide technical support for IP-related issues to internal teams
Work with network engineers, security teams, and other IT departments to integrate Infoblox solutions
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in IP management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Technical field or equivalent work experience
10+ years of related work experience
TS/SCI with Poly
Strong understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing schemes, DNS, IP address management (IPAM), and Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs).
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, ASN management, Anycast DNS, subnetting, BGP and other routing protocols.
Familiarity with IANA, RIRs, and their policies
Experience with IP Address Management (IPAM) tools, preferably with Infoblox NIOS, DDI, and related solutions.
Knowledge of BGP and other routing protocols
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired:
Infoblox DDI Associate or other Infoblox certifications.
CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications preferred
Expertise in Anycast DNS, including deployment, routing policies, and optimization techniques.
Experience with BGP routing, ASN allocation, and related tools.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
