Job Description
Field Service Engineers conduct a broad range of inspection, engineering, and supervisory tasks in support of in-house testing, installation, start-up, and service/repair of a full range of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and engineering tasks related to in-house testing, installation, start-up, and servicing/repairing industrial equipment.
Work with motor-controlled hydraulic and pneumatic industrial machines.
Write and maintain project plans, test plans, and equipment manuals.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Essential Skills
Field Service Engineering experience with motor-controlled hydraulic and pneumatic industrial machines.
Ability to read diagrams
Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS Degree in Engineering is preferred.
Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fields, including hydraulic, pneumatic systems, PLC, motor controls, and sensors.
Experience writing project plans and equipment manuals.
Work Environment
Extensive travel of up to 70% both domestically and internationally is required. When not traveling, work will be conducted on-site in an office setting with a team of Field Service Engineers. Traveling environments can vary, including international locations such as China, Japan, and India, where language barriers and hot/dirty industrial conditions may be encountered. In the US, travel can be to any customer location, primarily foundries. All locations are safe. Company offers training, excellent benefits, and profit-sharing and bonus plans.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
