Equipment and Facilities Project Engineer Learn and Grow your skills under a very kind and helpful PE. Equipment to be monitored and worked on include: Water treatment system, Cooling tower, Bag house Infrastructure projects include: utilities, plant, buildings, facilities, roads. Responsible installation and equipment modifications throughout the facility. This position is responsible for the engineering and modifications to physical plant, utilities and our grounds. Contact point-person for EPA/DEP on all environmental issues and responsible to ensure that all environmental requirements are met . Overall responsibility for complete management of projects in accordance with established budgets and specification requirements from development to overall completion. Meets with and oversees contractors utilized in such projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Conducts feasibility studies for projects, as necessary. Writes bid specifications for equipment, engineering, erection and installation. Solicits, evaluates and negotiates contracts for bids. Estimates, schedules and assures projects come in on budget and on time. Provides maintenance and production engineering support to all departments. Interfaces with contractors, equipment suppliers and regulatory agencies on a regular basis. Performs environmental sampling. Assists the Vice President as needed. Other projects as requested, including travel (local, national and international) as required.

Manufacturing,Equipment Integration,Feasibility Studies,Facilities Engineering,Infrastructure Optimization EDUCATION : Bachelor of Science in either Civil, Structural, Mechanical or possibly Electrical Engineering EXPERIENCE : 4 year Engineering degree and relevant experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
