We are seeking a motivated and results-driven ERP Inside Sales Engineer to join our ERP Sales Team. This role focuses on nurturing existing client relationships and generating new business opportunities for our cutting-edge ERP offerings. If you're a proactive “hunter” with a passion for identifying and closing qualified leads, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role, requiring two to three days per week from any of the CGI office. Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Develop and manage strong client relationships, collaborating closely with capture management teams. • Provide technical expertise to support the sales team. • Help customers understand how products or solutions meet their needs. • Prepare detailed quotes, proposals, and product configurations. Ensure accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines. • Work cross-functionally with CGI teams to grow executive-level client engagement and account development. • Partner with IP and solutions teams to translate client needs into actionable, deliverable solutions. • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and recognition across teams to drive business success. • Engage with CGI regional teams to build communities and drive joint business growth. • Stay informed on industry trends and maintain competitive intelligence. • Establish trusted, peer-level relationships with clients to proactively present innovative solutions. • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data using CRM tools. • Travel up to 25% within the assigned geographic region. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5 + years of proven experience in ERP solution sales, preferably in commercial or public sector environments. • Demonstrated success in building and managing client relationships that lead to significant bookings. • Understanding of systems integration, managed services, and IT consulting. • Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills across all organizational levels. • Ability to confidently engage with senior-level stakeholders and drive strategic conversations. • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills. • Willingness to manage the full sales cycle,from lead generation through closing and post-sale engagement. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
