** This customer site position is on-site at Naval Station Mayport, FL *** Job Summary VSolvit is seeking a Product Support Engineer with Electronic Warfare (EW) product development skills to join our team at Naval Station Mayport which is located 15 miles east of Jacksonville, Florida. Mayport is a relatively moderate cost of living beach community area. The warm climate makes it ideal for outdoor recreation year-round, especially for boating, camping, fishing and water sports. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor, and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing tasks as assigned. Responsibilities Support research, design, development, and testing of EW electronic equipment, components, and systems for military or scientific use Potential for some manufacturing support and installation of new equipment Development and testing of aircraft interfaces, tactical communications, and sensor system integration Troubleshoot system hardware, cabling, and other connectivity issues of systems, ensuring mission-critical assets remain fully operational Investigate problems to find root causes related to testing, and/or test procedures Document accurate and concise status reports and findings Develop maintenance procedures to be adopted by squadrons and detachments Develop comprehensive products or system installation and maintenance training Maintain product development inventory and support logistics activities May require 5-10% travel for product development or integration events Basic Qualifications Associate’s degree in sciences or arts Minimum of 5 years’ experience with EW systems Hands-on problem-solving skills Experience in advanced mission systems integration Experience with the MH-60R airframe, specifically the onboard electronic systems such as: AN/APS-153(V); AN/AQS-22; AN/ALQ-210; AN/AAS-44(C); AN/SRQ-4; AN/ALQ-248 Summarize data and present findings for analysis and recommendations Effective communications with senior-level leaders, end users, analysts, and contractor and customer personnel in a diverse team setting United States Citizenship required Active DoD Secret Clearance require Must be a U.S. Citizen If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in sciences or arts Minimum of 9 years’ experience with EW systems Support the entire product development lifecycle, from initial prototyping and testing to specification management and commercialization Familiarity with development of the Electronic ELINT Modernization Upgrade (EEMU) system is highly desirable Ability to improve mission readiness execution in high-stakes environments Experience improving processes, focusing on engineering task documentation Familiarity with statistical tools, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiments Curiosity and drive for innovation and continuous improvement Active DoD Top Secret Clearance C
