Job Description
Join Micron Technology as a Facilities Water Engineer for UPW, IWT, and Wastewater Reclamation.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Design and Plan Systems and Buildings
Provide system designs for safe operations and maintenance
Develop, review, and maintain equipment and component specifications and standards
Ensure material compatibility and compliance with standards, codes, and regulations
Review capacity databases to support current operations and future projects
Lead system status presentations and evaluate capacity impacts
Coordinate facilities infrastructure additions or modifications
Provide Project Support
Furnish Micron specifications to Design Firms and review detailed designs
Support cost and schedule estimates and provide justification for approval
Supervise and coordinate consultant resources
Ensure communication with Operations, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing
Review design packages and provide detailed feedback
Address problems and ensure change management procedures are followed
Monitor progress and provide engineering support during construction
Provide Technical Support, Leadership, and Expertise
Consult and support Operations, Maintenance, and Manufacturing as a Subject Matter Expert
Analyze designs to identify improvements in performance, efficiency, and cost savings
Support problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies
Lead vendor qualifications, selection, and negotiations
Conduct risk and failure mode analysis
Collaborate on engineering and craft best-known methods (BKMs) globally
Maintain groundbreaking domain and equipment support knowledge
