About The Role

We're seeking a fullstack engineer to lead our backend development and contribute to frontend development of our World MiniApp. You should have expertise in Ethereum and Typescript, along with strong knowledge of Postgres, Next.js, and React.

While speed is crucial, we place equal emphasis on quality, rigor, and optimization. Our app needs to perform smoothly for users worldwide, particularly those using lower-end phones.

Working closely with the founding team, you'll ship frequently and make a direct impact on thousands—if not millions—of lives. You'll see your work being used by thousands of people every day.

Key responsibilities

Lead backend development of our World MiniApp, focusing on performance and scalability Work on frontend components with support across mobile devices Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers Work cross-functionally to deliver features Review pull requests, maintain code quality standards, and improve codebase through refactoring

Requirements

Expert in Ethereum and TypeScript Strong knowledge of Postgres, Next.js, and React Track record of building and scaling successful web applications Deep understanding of backend performance optimization Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience scaling infrastructure, especially databases, hosting, and networking

Nice to have

Experience in technical leadership Familiarity with shadcn and World's MiniKit Experience contributing to open-source software
