Job Title: Founding Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Salary: $170k-220k

Overview: An emerging AI company in San Francisco is seeking a talented Founding Senior Engineer (Infrastructure) to help shape and build our foundational infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team to scale, refine, and optimize infrastructure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in our growth and success, driving key projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end scalability projects, ensuring robust performance as the company grows Develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure processes that support our expanding operations Define and meet infrastructure goals around monitoring, antifragility, and resilience Collaborate closely with the team, providing insights and support for distributed systems scaling Contribute to the hiring and onboarding of future infrastructure team members Required Qualifications: 5+ years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years specializing in infrastructure Minimum of 1 year working in a fast-paced environment (under 100 employees) Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and proficiency with Pulumi or similar distributed system scaling tools Previous experience as a Founding Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or DevOps Engineer Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco 6 days a week alongside the core team Compensation and Benefits: Salary up to $220,000 Competitive equity package, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to and benefit from the company's success
