Our client, a leading player in the gaming industry, is seeking a Gameplay Software Engineer II to join their team. As a Gameplay Software Engineer II, you will be part of the development team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Gameplay Software Engineer II
Location: Burlingame, CA
Pay Range: 50-70/hr
What's the Job?
Create sample TypeScript code to demonstrate NPC behaviors in Horizon Worlds.
Develop both simple and complex examples that can be used for creator samples and AI training.
Design NPC tools to showcase NPC behaviors effectively.
Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including requirements definition and product release.
Write clean, encapsulated, testable, and well-documented code.
What's Needed?
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
3-5 years of game development experience.
Proficiency in C# and TypeScript.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt plans in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with version control and build systems.
