GenAI ML Engineer

Description: We are seeking a highly motivated GenAI ML Engineer with a foundation in Computer Engineering and 2-4 years of experience in building Generative AI applications. The ideal candidate should have exposure to healthcare data, Medicare Advantage standards (CMS), and a strong understanding of modern engineering processes including Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Vertex AI, Gemini models, and agentic AI frameworks is a strong plus.
What You Will Do: Develop and deploy GenAI models on GCP (Vertex AI) for healthcare applications. Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance model performance using external knowledge bases. Build and maintain agentic frameworks to allow autonomous and task-driven AI behaviors. Customize foundation models (e.g., Gemini, PaLM) to healthcare-specific use cases. Perform advanced prompt engineering, including prompt tuning, few-shot, and chain-of-thought techniques, to optimize LLM performance. Collaborate with healthcare domain experts to align models with CMS and Medicare Advantage requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain documentation in Confluence. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS standards for healthcare data handling. What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in GenAI/ML engineering. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with GenAI libraries (e.g., HuggingFace, LangChain, OpenAI APIs). Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, agentic AI systems, and model fine-tuning/customization. Familiarity with GCP services like Vertex AI, BigQuery. Strong expertise in prompt engineering strategies for maximizing LLM performance. Understanding of Agile processes and tools like Jira and Confluence. Healthcare and Medicare Advantage domain experience.
