**General Summary:**
Qualcomm's GPU Research Team is seeking talented GPU architects to advance state-of-the-art 3D GPU capabilities, including Ray Tracing, Neural Rendering, Geometry Processing, and Machine Learning. Collaborating closely with software, hardware design teams, standardization bodies, and customers, you will help develop and design new GPU architectural features. A strong understanding of GPU architecture, programming models, and applications is required, along with familiarity with APIs such as Vulkan, D3D, OpenGL, and/or OpenCL. Working knowledge of C/C++ is essential, and Python skills are a strong plus.
**Team responsibilities include:**
Discover customer requirements for next-generation architectural features
Translate ideas into comprehensive Feature Development Specifications
Create simulators to explore and validate functional and performance behaviors
Educate internal implementation teams
Contribute to standardization efforts
**About our team:**
Qualcomm's GPU Research Team develops some of the world's most advanced GPUs. The Adreno GPU is part of Qualcomm's System on a Chip (SoC) platform used in mobile phones, VR/AR headsets, wearables, laptops, and more. Our responsibilities include architecture development, research, design, tools, frameworks, and GPU drivers. We focus on advancing 3D rendering for gaming, productivity, and machine learning, and work on innovations in machine learning, ray tracing, and developer tools for Qualcomm SOC devices.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
Master's degree with 5+ years of experience, OR
PhD with 4+ years of experience.
**Additional minimum qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, OR
Master's degree with 3+ years, OR
PhD with 2+ years.

**Pay Range and Benefits:**
$161,800.00 - $242,600.00, plus annual discretionary bonuses, RSU grants, and comprehensive benefits. Details available upon request.
