Selectek is seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is an excellent contract-to-direct opportunity for someone with a strong academic background and practical experience in infrastructure, land development, and transportation projects. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers and contribute to a variety of civil engineering tasks.

Responsibilities: Assist in civil engineering design and analysis for projects including roads, stormwater drainage systems, and site development. Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and calculations under the direction of senior engineers. Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data, support development, and ensure design accuracy. Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil engineering software to assist in producing project plans. Perform data collection, feasibility studies, and cost estimates to support design decisions. Ensure that designs comply with local regulations, engineering standards, and safety codes. Assist project teams with administrative and coordination tasks, including documentation and permitting support.

Preferred Software Experience: Familiarity with PondPack, StormCAD, and/or ICPR4 hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent civil design platforms.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field. EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or currently pursuing it (preferred). 0–3 years of relevant work or internship experience. Working knowledge of local engineering codes and design standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00/hr

Term: 6-month temp to perm
