We are seeking a Municipal Water / Wastewater Hydraulic Modeling Project Manager for our team in Smyrna, GA. The responsibilities of this role will involve various projects in the following areas: Hydraulic modeling of water distribution systems
Planning and evaluation of pumping and storage systems
Water quality assessments
Water loss studies
Hydraulic modeling of wastewater collection systems
Inflow and infiltration analyses
Lift station evaluations
Water supply planning
Management of conveyance systems Key responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting planning studies
Managing project scope, schedule, and quality
Participating in client workshops
Mentoring junior staff
Coordinating with project managers and client service managers
Supporting business development activities The ideal candidate must be able to: Demonstrate technical proficiency in water / wastewater engineering
Manage project delivery from start to finish
Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ensure work product quality and project accounting accuracy
Lead project management and quality control activities Requirements Bachelors degree in civil, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering. MS preferred
Minimum of five years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within six months
Experience with hydraulic modeling software
Excellent communication skills Location: Smyrna, GA. This role may require periodic travel for projects, conferences, and other business needs.
