The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting the City's IT infrastructure through a centralized IT Department. This role requires deep expertise in network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS networks, and related equipment, with strong skills in troubleshooting and device configuration being essential for success. In addition to managing network operations, the Infrastructure Engineer will contribute to the department's broader responsibilities, including virtualization, server management, backups, and security positioning. The position plays a key role in ensuring the reliability of the network and security of the infrastructure and completing or contributing to the documentation of all systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate degree from an accredited institution in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Licenses and Certifications: Valid Arizona Driver's License upon hire ACJIS TOC-D within 6 months of hire. ITIL certification within 6 months of hire.
