POSITION SUMMARY: The Inshore Saltwater Product Manager will be responsible for managing the development of all new Saltwater models. They will become the subject matter expert of all products in this category and continue to drive the development of our product in being industry leaders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Become the SME for the product Develop a deep understanding of the market wants and needs Analyze warranty and manufacturing data to continuously improve the product line Provide assistance for dealers/customers with respect to setup, performance, etc. Manage product cost and KPI’s through design Manage the project schedule by coordinating tasks through other Designers and Key Stakeholders Assist in the design process as needed to support the project team Ensure accuracy of BOM’s Ensure accuracy of all related SWI’s Ensure structural validation of all products Ensure NMMA/USCG/ABYC conformity in all products Act as company technical liaison as needed Provide guidance to marketing and sales regarding product information and features Provide guidance on the direction of the product for the product road map All other duties assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Engineering degree or extensive boat building experience Excellent communication skills to achieve cooperation and acceptance of changes Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion Familiarity with Saltwater fishing boats preferred Strong knowledge of the market Must be a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced team environment Visit our employment site at www.skeeteremployment.com and read more about why people enjoy working at Skeeter.
