About This Role
As an Sr. Inside Sales Representative, you will be crucial to the business by expanding ALC’s customer base and working to exceed sales targets. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter, pays attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and is customer oriented. You will be able to advance your skills and prepare you for the opportunity to transfer to an outside sales position. This person can reside and work from three of our Florida locations; Orlando, Cocoa, or Tampa. Key Responsibilities
Analyze sales data to identify upcoming potential opportunities.
Work with the sales team to create accurate estimates, prepare bids, perform site walk-
throughs, and conduct field surveys.
Collaborate with outside sales and sales management to develop and present sales
Support bid activities including but not limited to; obtaining subcontractor quotes, performing
job take offs and conducting jobsite walkthroughs.
Track project expenses compared to the estimated costs.
Review project specification and control schematics.
Provide clear documentation on estimates, proposals, and scope letters.
Assist when there are deviations from original specifications.
Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results.
Proactively educating internal and external customers on ALC product / services (ex. trainings, lunch and learns, etc.)
Obtain multiple subcontractor prices.
Qualify opportunities and assist to develop bid strategy
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
6+ Months of Experience in HVAC
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, Accounting.
3+ years of experience in Sales, Building Automation, HVAC, and/or Controls.
Capable of building strong relationships with customers and coworkers.
Detailed-oriented, self-motivated, and works to continuously improve.
Strong skills in written and oral communication, analysis, organization and time management.
Ability to basic financial and accounting-related issues.
Experience with sales tools and software, such as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and estimating software.
Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Knowledge of how to present ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision makers.
