Job Summary The Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) is an essential part of the whole sales process.  The ISE responsibility is shared with the responsible Outside Sales Engineer (OSE) to prepare a competitive quotation and to turn the quote into an order. The ISE is responsible to prepare and coordinate customer quotations on a timely basis.  The ISE will notably be responsible for working with the OSE to sell to our customer base. There is a heavy sales focus in this role including interactions with sales team, their customers, and developing of sub-vendor relationships are key.  This position is also responsible for sizing equipment that both hydraulically and mechanically meets the customer’s requirements.  Must have a high level of practical technical knowledge in order to minimize costs and capitalize on order attainment.   The Inside Sales Engineer will have a strong foundational knowledge of Ruhrpumpen products and applications engineering processes. Responsibilities and Duties Prepares timely customer quotations. Coordinates Customer quotations request with sub-vendors. Creates Technical quotations of rotating equipment.  Hydraulic pump selections, pump sizing, specification review, cost analysis and review of sub vendor quotations. Communication with Outside Sales, Customers, Vendors, and all other team members involved to ensure proper quotations and specifications.
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor degree in Engineering ( Mechanical Preferred) 5+ years Pump experience preferred in Sales, Applications, Design , Engineer. Knowledge This position requires good knowledge in hydraulic and mechanical design; customer system application requirements; cost procurement and analysis; metallurgical material specifications; machining and fabrication design; installation practices; quality assurance systems; and sales and marketing situations.  The successful candidate must have strong working knowledge with MS Office including Excel. Interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to effectively interact with top and middle management personnel in various departments, and to interact with Field Sales Offices and Customers.
