Pay: $130,000 $135,000/year

Location: 1919 Allen Parkway, Houston, TX 77019 (Onsite)
Overview
This is a direct hire position for a senior-level Intune\SCCM Engineer supporting a large enterprise with over 25,000 employees across 2,000 North American locations. The role is based in Houston, TX, and focuses on desktop engineering, endpoint management, and system administration in a co-managed Intune/SCCM environment. Ideal candidates will have 12+ years of experience with Microsoft systems and endpoint architecture, and strong scripting, security, and cloud desktop management capabilities.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Advanced End User System Support
Resolve escalated incidents related to PC hardware, OS, IoT, peripherals
Manage endpoint security (e.g., CyberArk EPM, Windows Firewall, Crowdstrike)
Document root causes and create knowledge base articles
Ensure timely processing of support tickets
System Administration and Engineering
Own endpoint management using Intune and SCCM (co-managed)
Guide desktop hardware/software strategy and optimization
Oversee global patching, vulnerability management, VDI (Citrix, Hyper-V, Azure)
Develop and maintain SOPs, system documentation, job aids, and test scripts
Lead or support engineering projects and ensure ITIL-compliant change control
Build and deploy software packages, OS images, and security configurations
Evaluate and plan hardware acquisitions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global colleagues
Required Skills
Expert-level Intune and SCCM experience
Deep expertise in Windows 10/11 and major desktop vendors (HP, Dell, Lenovo)
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript)
Experience with:
Endpoint security platforms (Crowdstrike, CyberArk, etc.)
Server technologies (SQL, Active Directory, GPO, WSUS)
Remote Access tools (Palo Alto GlobalProtect)
Excellent problem-solving and customer service orientation
Familiarity with Agile, SOP documentation, and training materials
Clear verbal and written communication across all management levels
Education Requirements
Associate s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
