The Enterprise Engineering team is responsible for delivering a secure, reliable tech experience to every Vantan. From onboarding to daily support, we make sure the tools, devices, and systems our teams rely on are available and working seamlessly.We’re looking for an IT Operations Engineer to join us in San Francisco. In this hybrid role (in-office one day per week), you’ll handle a wide range of responsibilities—from laptop provisioning and SaaS administration to office AV troubleshooting and support. You’ll be part of a small, highly collaborative team that values initiative, clear communication, and excellent customer service.Visit our Vanta Engineering Blog to learn more about what our team is working on!What you’ll do as an IT Operations Engineer at Vanta:Provide timely, high-quality IT support to Vanta’ns in-office and remotely across time zonesHandle onboarding and offboarding logistics, including account provisioning and hardware managementOwn the setup, maintenance, and reliability of in-office technology (AV, networking, etc.) in our flagship officeAdminister SaaS tools such as Google Workspace and OktaHelp manage macOS devices via Jamf and assist with security/compliance configurationsDocument workflows and improve IT processes for scaleParticipate in an on-call rotation for urgent support issuesCreate and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation for internal processes, tools, and workflowsHow to be successful in this role:Communicate clearly and confidently, translating technical issues into approachable languageProvide timely, thoughtful support with a strong focus on the end-user experienceBring hands-on experience with SaaS tools like Google Workspace, and know how to scale them effectivelyUnderstand identity and access management best practices, ideally with experience using OktaComfortable supporting macOS environments and managing a distributed device fleet (bonus points for Jamf experience)Collaborate effectively across teams, building strong relationships with partners in People, Security, Workplace, and other key teamsThrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting prioritiesTake initiative and operate effectively with minimal oversightAbility to work in our San Francisco office in a hybrid setting (1-2 days a week)What you can expect as a Vantan:Industry-competitive compensation100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage16 weeks fully-paid parental Leave for all new parentsHealth & wellness and remote workplace stipendsFamily planning benefits through Carrot Fertility401(k) matchingFlexible work hours and locationOpen PTO policy11 paid holidays in the USOffices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, and SydneyTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.
