Our client is seeking a Lead IT Support Engineer to take ownership of our IT infrastructure and operations.
This role will oversee the companys hardware, software, and systems across both Mac and Windows environments. Key responsibilities include managing identity and access solutions such as Okta and JumpCloud, domain management, and Google Workspace (Gmail)ensuring all systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

?IT Lead Support Engineer Requirements & Qualifications
1. Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems , including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Okta for identity and access management, SSO, and MFA.
Expertise in managing Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), particularly Gmail, Calendar, and Drive.
Expertise in managing Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Familiarity with domain management (DNS, SSL certificates) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
Understanding of office IT equipment, networking infrastructure, and basic system administration.
2. Experience:
10+ years of experience in IT support and systems management.
Experience managing both on-site and remote IT environments.
Experience provisioning both Windows and MacOS machines.
Proven experience managing user accounts, security settings, and workflows in Google Workspace and Okta.
Experience in office IT setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Jump Cloud is a plus
3. Leadership and Management:
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage small IT teams or vendors.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee IT initiatives and ensure they align with business goals.
Proven ability to manage IT support operations, ensuring that user issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Education:
Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
