The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for all facets of infrastructure work and possess both deep and wide expertise in on premise and in the cloud solutions. This role makes use of Azure, Office 365, SQL, VMWare, Networking, SAN, and other technologies

Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other M365 services. Configure and manage Microsoft 365 Groups, licensing, compliance settings, and security roles. Perform user and mailbox administration including provisioning, de-provisioning, and troubleshooting. Intune (Endpoint Manager): Deploy and manage Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices through Microsoft Intune. Create and manage configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployments. Ensure secure device onboarding, remote wipe, and device lifecycle management. Microsoft Defender (Security Stack): Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps. Apply security baselines and hardening policies across endpoints and cloud services. Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Deploy, maintain, and support Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure. Configure host pools, session hosts, application groups, FSLogix profiles, and scaling plans. Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and profile issues in AVD environments. General Duties: Monitor system performance and availability, applying patches and updates as needed. Maintain documentation, SOPs, and change management records. Perform ongoing Exchange administration work. Perform ongoing monitoring and alerting based upon system, or service, criticality. Develop and implement plans for ongoing system and server maintenance. Configure and troubleshoot a wide array of infrastructure devices including cameras, weight scales, workstations, printers, and servers. Provide insight into CAB with risk analysis for problems, incidents, and change requests. Act as the contact or single source for the LRS phone system and call tree routing for Customer Service. Provide escalated support for all LRS employees. Other tasks as assigned by senior staff.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in Information Technology as an Administrator, Engineer, or greater position 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration. Strong experience with Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device and app management. Advanced knowledge of inventory or asset management Expert in Microsoft technologies including AD/GPO, Office, Exchange, SQL, and Cloud Experience with Phone Systems (IP, SIP, Avaya) MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, Azure, or ITIL a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills High level of commitment to customer service and teamwork Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to think logically and to resolve problems Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and make critical decisions based on experience and direction of the company Ability to acquire new skills quickly as necessary and to meet deadlines
Physical Demands / Environmental Factors Office Environment with requirements to visit sorting facilities occasionally Ability to lift 50lbs independently and safely May require working evenings and weekends with or without advanced knowledge On-Call rotations as necessary
