Jr. Robotics Engineer Location: Irvine, CA / on-site Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Robotics Engineer to join the growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge robotic systems for a variety of applications. You will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists to solve challenging problems and push the boundaries of robotics technology. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Python, C++, LINUX and Node.js. Extensive experience with ROS (Robot Operating System). Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS). Experience with robot kinematics, dynamics, and control. Experience with sensor integration and data processing. Experience with machine learning for robotics applications (a plus). Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (a plus). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Strong work ethic and a passion for robotics. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in deploying and maintaining robotic systems in real-world environments (e.g., field robotics, industrial automation, etc.). Experience working with companies like Boston Dynamics or other leading robotics companies is a strong plus. Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement robotic algorithms and control systems using Python, C++, Node.js (plus), and LINUX. Develop and maintain robust software modules for robot perception, motion planning, and control. Integrate and test robotic hardware and software components. Develop and maintain real-time control systems for robots. Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems. Conduct system integration and field testing of robotic systems. Lead the implementation, API development, and integration of kernel-level drivers and ROS packages. Mentor junior engineers on best practices for robotics software development. Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers. Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Why Join?
