Job Summary: Group One Trading is a leading privately held options trading firm seeking a full-time Desktop Engineer who is passionate about user support and troubleshooting. The role involves providing high levels of customer service, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and proactively identifying and resolving technical issues. Responsibilities: Provide support, troubleshooting, and configuring system hardware. Troubleshoot Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, including Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Active Directory/AAD/Entra, Azure, DHCP, DNS, Exchange Online, and deployment of Windows Updates. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server & SQL Database Management. Experience working with a VMware vSphere environment. Demonstrated proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Understanding of fundamental networking concepts, including TCP/IP, FTP, and routing. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and crouch beneath desks for equipment installation. Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
