Position: Lead Automation Quality Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA / Toronto, Remote Duration: 6+ months Visa: gc or citizens What You'll Need to Have: Strong backend/data QA automation lead experience 5-7+ years in QA automation or software engineering in test (SDET) Proficient in Python or JavaScript for test framework/tool development Strong SQL and data validation skills, especially with Microsoft SQL Server Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices Familiarity with containerized deployments and AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, CloudWatch) CI/CD integration experience (CodePipeline, Azure DevOps) Knowledge of TDD/BDD implementation Ability to work in Agile environments with incomplete information Preferred Skills: Exposure to event-driven architectures (SQS, SNS, Step Functions) Experience with data mocking/stubbing frameworks Basic UI testing experience with Playwright or Cypress Background in financial services or regulated data environments Why Join?
