Operations Technology: Innovate transportation planning and execution for fulfillment centers, impacting millions of customers.
Human Resources Technology: Enhance the experience for Amazonians and candidates through seamless recruitment and onboarding technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Centralize reporting and synthesize insights to deliver predictive analytics and recommendations for optimization.
Develop solutions and strategies aimed at operational excellence across the organization.
Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance data quality across multiple products and platforms.
Work closely with software developers and data engineers to optimize data processes for ingestion and transformation.
Advocate for a data-centric approach, serving as a coach and in-house expert within the team.
Be an active leader and contributor, offering individual analytics support to team members.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of professional or military experience
5+ years of experience with SQL
Proficiency in programming for extracting, transforming, and cleaning large datasets
Knowledge in experimental design and statistical analysis
Experience with AWS technologies
Scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL capabilities
Understanding of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in working with business stakeholders to align data solutions with business objectives
Ability to manage and effectively communicate results to senior leadership
Master's degree in statistics, data science, or a related quantitative field
