Your New Role As our new Lead Consultant, you will work on complex projects involving the permitting, management, remediation, modification, and closure of industrial waste impoundments, water and tailings dams, and contaminated sites.
Key Responsibilities Supporting the conceptual design, permitting, final design, and construction of geoenvironmental remediation systems (cutoff walls, barriers, closures and caps, groundwater management systems, etc.) for industrial waste impoundments and contaminated sites.
Assessing dam safety and management practices.
Performing construction quantity takeoffs and cost estimating.
Collaborating with experienced engineering and CAD staff to develop engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CQA plans.
Conducting geotechnical calculations including seepage, slope stability, seismic and liquefaction assessments, settlement analyses, etc.
About You Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical, geoenvironmental, and civil engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri and Illinois, or licensure in another U.S. state with the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months.
Support the development of civil and geoenvironmental design projects.
Lead field subsurface investigation programs.
Ability to work semi-independently with limited, but regular, oversight from experienced staff.

Compensation for this role is likely to be between $77,000 and $99,000 annually, depending on experience, location, education, and other factors. This does not include bonuses or overtime.
