n  for  Lead Electrical  Engineer : Seeking a hands on Lead Controls Engineer to oversee and direct all electrical system project efforts; including design, validation and production. Responsible for power distribution, electrical wiring design, integration and design considerations for optimum performance. This role manages and mentors a small team of Electrical and Controls Engineers and cordinates resources required to support all phases of projects from design through manufacturing; including installation, warranty and post warranty phases. They will track and report project metrics as well as interface with suppliers and customers as needed. Responsibilities for  Lead Electrical  Engineer : Equipment Management Oversee all electrical upgrades and modifications for equipment and facilities. Manage outsourcing activities related to electrical controls. Conduct and/or coordinate on-site equipment startups and operator training. Recommend and implement design enhancements to support continuous improvement efforts. Process Development Support the design, development, and review of division-wide processes. Drive process improvements by integrating feedback from customers, assemblers, and field service teams. Contribute to cost-reduction and workflow optimization projects through continuous improvement initiatives. Project Management Ensure adherence to customer specifications throughout project lifecycle. Develop and manage project budgets. Prepare and submit customer approval documentation. Create Electrical Bills of Materials (EBOMs) for equipment projects. Monitor internal readiness and verify completion of checklists prior to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Research & Development Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new systems, prototypes, and processes. Assist in budgeting for R&D projects. Customer Support Assist in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues at customer sites. Support on-site machine interventions and repairs. Deliver machine training to customers. Create and maintain comprehensive equipment documentation. Assist in managing warranty claims and working with vendors for resolution.
