$128,000.00 - $216,000.00 Pay Rate Type:

Salary Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location. Relocation support is available for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities: Lead design and implementation of cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, and Helm. Develop reusable architecture patterns and platform capabilities for scalable self-service infrastructure. Collaborate with application teams to define infrastructure needs and provide guidance on cloud-native best practices. Champion GitOps workflows and automation pipelines for consistency, reliability, and speed. Mentor engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure infrastructure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational standards. Evaluate new technologies and influence roadmap decisions. Knowledge & Skills Requirements: 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Deep understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and platform engineering. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Crossplane). Proficiency in CI/CD, GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD), and DevOps tools. Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring. Experience designing and supporting production-grade infrastructure in enterprise environments. Additional Details: Travel up to 10%. Work primarily involves sitting/standing. This is a flexible office/home role requiring a minimum of 10 days/month at Madison, WI or Boston, MA. We encourage applicants who are passionate and may not meet all listed requirements.
