Summary

Responsible for managing a team of developers developing a state of the art trading platform Help lead us forward in design and architecture. Take ownership over developing a pipeline of new features. Code review and leadership of team members. Ensuring component consistency in design and with testing standards. Working with Product Owners to ensure a resilient, performant, built for purpose system is developed and maintained Focusing on continuous improvement to efficiently deliver features Working with other Technical leads to set standards across components and services Driving the prioritization of non-functional requirements Identifying risks and proposing/implementing mitigation plans. Ability to manage and mentor all levels of developers Be accountable for team performance. Requirements

5+ years’ experience building dynamic, rich front end, ideally in financial services. Front office and/or financial services knowledge, preferably in Wealth Management You should have full stack development experience with experience the use of microservices and restful services Strong experience with components such as React, Django, node.js Strong java experience. Understanding of Kafka, relationship databases. Experience with low latency, high performing systems (trading system preferred) Understanding of needs from a highly regulated business. Knowledge and experience with software lifecycle optimization, including unit testing, continuous integration, automated testing, appropriate documentation Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD Excellent communicator – written and verbal – who can challenge and drive change Strong background in data structures and algorithms Experience working and delivering across a multi-location team
