Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Grafana Developer with a strong background in development and DevOps to lead the design and implementation of real-time dashboards and observability tools. This is a senior-level role that will play a key part in setting standards and best practices for a junior team. The ideal candidate will have experience consuming data from Kafka, building dynamic visualizations, and creating compelling data stories using tools like Grafana, Splunk, and Elastic. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain Grafana dashboards that provide meaningful insights and real-time monitoring

Consume and process streaming data from Kafka

Extract and integrate data using APIs

Set technical standards, best practices, and mentor junior team members

Develop and maintain observability solutions using tools such as Splunk , Elastic , AppDynamics , and Prometheus

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve system reliability and performance visibility

Write clean, efficient code to support backend integration and automation (, via GitHub or other version control tools)

Translate complex data into engaging narratives that support decision-making

Provide support in production environments, ensuring high availability and system performance

Required Qualifications: + years of professional experience in data visualization and observability

Strong hands-on experience with Grafana (not just dashboard usage, but full dashboard design and backend integration)

Proficient in consuming data from Kafka and working with time-series data

Proficient in building and consuming APIs

Solid DevOps background with exposure to CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems

Experience with Splunk , Elastic , AppDynamics , and/or Prometheus

Demonstrated ability to tell stories with data and make visualizations actionable

Coding background (, Python, Go, or similar); GitHub portfolio is a plus

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and setting best practices for junior staff

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Tableau or other BI tools (nice to have, not required)

Exposure to production support environments

Familiarity with site reliability engineering (SRE) or infrastructure monitoring practices
