Exciting Long Term Lead Position! This position serves as a lead for the mechanical engineering group with experience in the Oil and Gas industry. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:-Prepare and coordinate detailed design of projects in compliance with governing codes, regulatory requirements, and client standards -Understand and be able to coordinate project cost, estimating, scoping and scheduling development and administration -Supervise and coordinate other engineers -Solve problems by using a combination of standard procedures, modification of standard procedures, or methods developed in previous assignments -Complete independent studies, analyses, interpretations, and conclusions -Give technical guidance and mentor engineers -Able to work without supervision and review of work for technical accuracy -Able to be given an opportunity and can then define the scope of work to accomplish -Coordinate and assign project work with other disciplines to meet client's safety, cost, quality, schedule, technical and operability objectives -Work closely with program lead to monitor project performance metrics in order to ensure scope, schedule and budget are meeting expectations

Requirements:-Proficiency with computerized project management and reporting tools - required-Supervisory experience required-Experience developing and approving pipe specifications -Experience in design, specification, application, and modification of rotating and fixed equipment, such as: Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Compressors & Turbines-Experience in: Equipment drawing review and approval; P&ID development and review; Material selection; Piping layout; Pipe Stress Analysis; Strong computer skills - Microsoft Applications (Word/Excel) and engineering software programs, such as CAESAR II, COMPRESS, and FEA programs -Capable of some travel and remote site assignments Education and , Gas Compression and Transmission
