Lead Test Automation Engineer - IVI & Embedded Systems

Job/Position Summary
Responsibilities:
Define test strategy, test plan and prepare automation test design Guide team on automation testing Identify IVI feature testing approaches and test design for each feature Identify IPC, HUD testing approaches Understand current test environment, test design/cases and develop new approaches based on need Identify automation test solutions including reuse of existing test automation, proprietary test automation and inter-operating of those environments Identify automation hardware needs and define working test environment Identify automation test porting approaches/solutions between two test frameworks Guide test leads and other leads to drive automation solutions Perform quality reviews Provide leadership and guidance to engineers executing both manual and automated test activities within assigned projects Interface with clients while performing the testing of hardware and software Work to ensure assigned testing tasks are completed on time Ensure status and communication reports are detailed, comprehensive, and accurate Exhibit excellent customer service and customer satisfaction capabilities Work with peers, leads and remote teams to ensure successful execution of test activities Requirements: Minimum is bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent in streams of CS/IT Expertise on Automotive Infotainment Domain (IVI), Cluster, HUDs, RSE and other automotive display ECUs and its features 12 to 14 years of experience in design, developing test automation, test executions, developing middleware frameworks and technically leading teams and 5+ years should be in managing the team Should be able to lead a team of 30 to 40 people Expertise on understanding any automation framework and should have used / designed/ developed various automation tools during his tenure Proven expertise in automated validations and/or providing automation solutions Experience using JIRA, or any other issue ticketing system including knowledge of internal know-hows. Executing a minimum of one entire production program for Infotainment projects Agile process expertise Good knowledge of either Python / Robot Framework or any of scripting language Expertise on any of OOPS based programming language Expertise in Android ADB / Appium / UI Automator In depth, understating on Vehicle Network like CAN/LIN/Most/ethernet, etc. Excellent written, verbal communication and team leading capabilities Good exposure & understanding for body and ADAS features Compensation and Benefits:
