We are looking for:
Advanced Systems Group LLC is seeking an experienced Live Streaming Engineer to join our high-performing team and lead the technical execution of corporate live streams and webcasts for internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical planning and execution of live streams for both internal and external corporate events.
Configure, operate, and troubleshoot streaming hardware/software, including encoders, audio interfaces, switchers, and bonded cellular systems.
Manage multi-platform outputs (e.g., Zoom, YouTube, LinkedIn Live, Facebook, X, intranet, custom RTMP).
Collaborate with producers, broadcast teams, and AV vendors to deliver seamless, high-quality streams.
Optimize encoding profiles and settings based on content type and destination requirements.
Run pre-event technical checks and rehearsals with presenters and remote contributors.
Document technical workflows and produce visual setup guides for future use.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., captioning, ASL, multi-language support).
Support live event operations with signal routing, redundancy planning, and real-time issue resolution.
Maintain security for confidential or internal-only content streams.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Engineering, Media Production, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
3–5+ years of experience in live streaming engineering or technical event production, preferably in corporate or broadcast settings.
Advanced proficiency in platforms like Wowza, Vimeo, Brightcove, YouTube Live, LinkedIn Live, Facebook Live, and X Live.
Experience with OBS, vMix, Wirecast, Epiphan Pearl, LiveU, Haivision, Teradek, and similar streaming tools.
Skilled with video switchers (Blackmagic ATEM, Ross Carbonite, Panasonic).
Strong grasp of RTMP, SRT, NDI, networking, and CDN delivery.
Proven troubleshooting ability across complex, hybrid streaming workflows.
Excellent communication and organization under pressure in live environments.
Understanding of public stream accessibility requirements (captions, translation, etc.).
Familiarity with enterprise video platforms like Kaltura, Microsoft Stream, and Zoom Webinars is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Experience supporting executive-level events and high-stakes corporate broadcasts.
Basic post-production or editing skills for stream archive cleanup and delivery.
Knowledge of intercom/crew comms systems such as Clear-Com or Unity.
Certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Dante Level 1/2, or NewTek NDI are strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time role offers a compensation range of $55 - $75/hr depending on experience.
