Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) - Audio Location: Cupertino, California, United States

Department: Operations and Supply Chain

Description We are seeking a mechanical and/or manufacturing engineer to take products from concept/brainstorm to mass production, as well as audit existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Daily activities may include program management, brainstorming solutions, and advanced data analysis. The role requires a passion for resolving ambiguous problems with quantifiable solutions. The ideal candidate will understand processes such as machining, welding, stamping, forging, plating, and other forming/finishing methods.

We value individuals with a strong desire to learn and the ability to drive open issues to resolution. Experience with multi-factor DOE, statistical comparisons, JMP, SOP creation/validation, and process troubleshooting is beneficial but not mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of experience in manufacturing process development

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME/MSME) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Mechanical background with experience in high-volume manufacturing environments

Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques and troubleshooting skills

Experience with data analysis using JMP or Minitab

Ability to manage tight schedules and define micro schedules

Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $184,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
