Our client, a leading manufacturing company in WNY, is seeking an experienced  Manufacturing Engineer  to join their team!
This is an onsite/ full-time/ direct-hire position Salary based on experience: $65k-$100k
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of professional Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment. All applicants must be U.S. citizens Applicant must work well in a cross-functional team environment / Team player Ability to work independently / Self-starter Coaching attitude
Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing Experience to include some Aerospace and some other Environments and Markets. Support and improve existing production processes through hands-on shop floor engagement. Excellent mechanical aptitude with strong root cause / corrective action skills. Experience working in a continuous improvement environment. Ability to drive/lead CI projects. Lean concepts including flow, work cell layout, workload balancing, & standard work. Experience with APQP / PPAP / PFMEA / DFMEA preferred. Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives across engineering teams. Project management experience Excellent communication and documentation skills
Required Skills: Knowledge of fixturing and fixture design Proficient in working in CAD (Solidworks preferred) Ability to read and produce detailed technical drawings (ASME Y14.5) Experience with assemblies Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) Experience with complex assemblies Proficient in working in an ERP system
