Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for coordinating activities related to new and existing part numbers and descriptions, ensuring all customer product requirements are accurately identified and met. This role includes technical support, cost analysis, process design, and hands-on collaboration across various manufacturing functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform cost analysis on customer-supplied RFQs. Design and document manufacturing processes, creating detailed production routings for shop floor personnel. Collaborate with all manufacturing departments including Raw Material, Sawing, Forging, Heat Treating, Machining, NDE, Inspection, Stamping, Coating/Plating, and Shipping. Create AutoCAD drawings for customer parts, internal tooling, and custom applications. Interpret and apply industry and customer specifications (ASTM, ASME, ISO, etc.). Fulfill other manufacturing engineering duties as required. Work in a fast-paced environment with diverse daily tasks and part configurations. Travel is minimal to none.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear and professional reports and correspondence. Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, and applied math. Ability to analyze statistical data and apply mathematical concepts to practical manufacturing situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions. Capable of solving problems with multiple variables in standardized settings.
Physical Demands: Regular use of hands for handling and communication (, phone, computer). Frequent standing, walking, and sitting. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Work Environment: Regular exposure to mechanical machinery and shop floor operations. Noise level is typically moderate.
