Summary The GE Aerospace facility in Madisonville, KY produces a mix of more than 800 unique High Pressure Turbine Blades and Nozzles in support of 37 aircraft engine programs. Approximately 85% of our products are deployed in military aircraft with a 47/53% mix of engines and repairs. The Manufacturing Engineer will impact quality of own work and the work of others on the team and execute standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Optimize manufacturing processes and systems to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production Problem-solving, process improvement, and project work, often involving both desk-based tasks and time on the shop floor Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement new technologies Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years fundamental programming concepts experience) Desired Characteristics: Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
