Qualifications:
BSME, MFG, Industrial Technology or similar field
Experience in ACAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or related CAD
2+ yearsÂ’ experience in a manufacturing & automation experience position
1+ year working experience as an intern or engineering role within a component manufacturing/machining environment or related industry such as medical, aerospace, or machining required
Experience with electrical circuits, PLC programing, motion control, statistical analysis
Proficiency with programming in ladder logic and structured text
Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics
Responsibilities:
Complete key automation projects, manage project schedules, oversee new tool implementation, and drive innovation through cutting-edge manufacturing process development
Collaborate closely with the internal Engineering team to deliver exceptional results
Manage, and complete projects that involve motion control, programing, electrical schematic design, and documentation
Attend weekly meetings and begin to identify new opportunities
Identify, analyze and propose new high level manufacturing improvement projects to management
Drive internal process improvements
Review new designs and provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to the Design Engineering team, define tooling requirements, and identify gaps in capability
Receive inquiries from the design team, assess the feasibility of the job, provide labor cost estimates
