Description The Ideal Candidate: Will have the correct balance of intellectually curiosity and be enthusiastic about exploring the unknown Have a bias for action and own a proven track record of getting results Be prepared to make mistakes but learn from them, be open to feedback and willing to be coached Will have a desire to advance in the business, this may be into lateral roles to gain a broad business perspective Key Accountabilities: Responsible for all production and repair activities in support of assigned product lines. Initiates and drives to completion productivity projects across all of operations. Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time Subject matter expert on CI and electro/mechanical production processes. Authors or edits procedures through the change management process. Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of producing and repairing products for all phases of manufacturing. Designs and validates production processes and fixtures in accordance with product and customer specifications. Transitions production solutions between factories during product acquisitions. Up to 10% travel may be required for both domestic and international product acquisition/training. Interfaces with management to present program status, capital requests, or productivity initiatives. Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree, prefer Industrial/Mechanical Engineering plus a minimum of one-year direct industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Strong analytical skills required e.g., demonstrated ability to take data from varying sources, analyse, interpret, and use to make business decisions Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
