Title: Marine/Mechanical Engineer Location: Spring, TX Duration: Full-time Salary range: 130K-150K What You Will Do: Lead research and assess the maturity of new technologies in the marine industry related to carbon capture, CO2 transportation, non-carbon/ low carbon-based fuels, renewable energies, including different machinery and systems, etc. Establish guidance and classification requirements for the marine and offshore industry on the application of new technology. Must-haves: At LEAST 3 years relevant engineering experience MS in Engineering (chemical, environmental, mechanical, naval, or marine) Experience in carbon capture Offshore is preferred, but open for land-based Basic understanding of CO2 transportation Basic renewable energy experience (solar or wind) Alternative fuels experience (hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, synthetic fuel, biofuel, etc) If you are interested and want to know more about the role, you can reach me at damini.gawande@collabera.com This is a direct hire opportunity.
