MBS is hiring a Mechanical Engineer I for a great client in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. FULL JOB DESCRIPTION PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responds to customer inquiries related to product pricing, design and deliveries.
Assist in selecting the correct products to best meet the customer’s needs.
Provides 3D designs and product modeling during submittal phase.
Provides product documentation and information during submittal phase.
Provides final Bill of Materials and construction documentation during production.
Assists in generating fabrication drawings for the fabrication shop.
Provide aftermarket parts support for customers for all products.
Assist customers with responsible installation manuals of products.
Responsible for all correspondence communicating customers’ concerns.
All duties assigned by senior design engineers.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other technical discipline , or equivalent or two to three years of experience in a technical role within the pump industry or equivalent field.
Must display a strong mechanical ability.
Ability to manage multiple project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Displays the ability to organize and maintain various files and logs.
Demonstrates the ability to own customer requests and follow them to completion.
Ability to model all 3D parts and final assemblies required for mechanical systems.
Excellent experience with computers and software.
Capable of communicating to a technical or non-technical audience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of 3D CAD programs and Microsoft Office products.
Experience in commercial HVAC design .
3–5+ years of experience, specifically with HVAC and CAD expertise.
Industrial process knowledge is strongly .
While a formal degree is not required, candidates must have hands-on experience with HVAC systems and CAD.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
