Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Participating in the design and development of new products, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards. 2. Utilizing CAD software to create and modify mechanical designs. 3. Performing detailed engineering analyses to support design decisions and understand the impact of design modifications. 4. Developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. 5. Leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. 6. Collaborating with other engineers, technicians, and production staff to resolve manufacturing and product issues. 7. Conducting root cause analysis for mechanical failures or defects and implementing corrective actions. 8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest manufacturing trends, technologies, and standards to ensure our processes and products remain competitive.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be an advantage. 2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience in product development and manufacturing processes. 4. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, methodologies, and tools. 5. Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design.
