We are seeking a Mechanical Piping Engineer to support the design, analysis, and implementation of piping systems for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial facilities such as chemical processing, oil & gas, or power generation facility experience. This role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality designs that meet project requirements.
Typical Job Duties Include Piping System Design: Develop and review piping layouts, specifications, and material selections in accordance with project and industry standards. 3D Modeling & Drafting: Work with designers and drafters to create piping drawings using CAD software such as Cadworx Stress Analysis: Perform pipe stress analysis using tools to ensure integrity under operational conditions. Material & Equipment Selection: Specify piping materials, valves, pumps, and other mechanical components suitable for industrial applications. Code & Standard Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to ASME B31.1/B31.3, API, ANSI, and other relevant industry standards. Field Support & Coordination: Assist with site visits, inspections, and construction support to verify installation compliance with design documents. Collaboration: Work closely with process engineers, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution. Project Documentation: Prepare technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation for project approval. Required: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering PE 15 Plus years of industrial piping experience for industrial facilities Proficient with Stress Analysis work and software #LI-DM1
