As a component test engineer on the post-boost control team, you will be responsible for ensuring testing various components at various levels: cold gas propulsion testing, hot gas propulsion testing and sub-scale testing of components. You will ensure our tests adhere to Common Integrated Processes as documented in Command Media, and drive process improvement into the design and test culture. Provide solution based technical mentoring to improve program performance and to drive error free testing using proven tools, processes and predictive measures. Travel may be required.

Desired skills •Experience Guiding the successful completion of major programs and functioning in a project leadership role. •Experience working with non-exempt employees. •Experience with Refractory Metals. •Experience with FBM processes. •Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Command Media related to system design and analyses. •Hardware experience, including design, analysis, assembly, Integration and Test. Experience using EPDM Windchill, SAP and design tools. •Knowledgeable at a systems level in the areas of stress, propulsion, harness routing, strength of materials, subcontracts, electrical design/analysis, software, transportation, and launch operations. •Experience working with procurement and outside suppliers. •Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent fields (systems engineering, electronics, stress/thermal analysis, configuration management, production, test, quality…) •Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
