In this position... Ford Motor Company is looking for a strong Exterior Trim Component Design & Release Engineer to lead the development of Mirror Components and Systems across both truck and car products.

You'll have... Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related degree. 3+ years of experience in design and release of exterior trim components.

Even better, you may have... Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related degree. Experience with studio interface of Class “A” Parts. Experience in mirror preferred. Knowledge of craftsmanship expectations, benchmarking and futuring. Knowledge of exterior trim components including materials and manufacturing technologies. Experience successfully delivering product through the studio feasibility checkpoint process. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and effectively communicate to management. Experience as Launch Engineer.
