Systems Engineer Job Description Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology Education and Experience Active TS/SCI and CI polygraph Must possess the required DoD Directive IAT Level II or higher certification(Security+CE preferred) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience Engineer/support mobility solutions used by various business areas Develop test plans and support documentation to enable quality deployment of business mobility solutions Provide 3rd level technical support for business mobility solutions (iPhone, tablet) Gather requirements for business mobility solutions or technologies to facilitate deployment of new and/or improve maintenance of existing solutions GDIT Is Your Place: K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays #Autobots
